Following the government resolution to safeguard against further spread of the coronavirus disease, all three Belvedere sites (Upper Belvedere, Lower Belvedere, Belvedere 21) are currently closed to the public.

  • When will the Belvedere reopen?

    Lower Belvedere - special opening, 15 May to 1 June, 2020

    Belvedere 21 - Reopening 1 June, 2020

    Upper Belvedere - Reopening 1 July, 2020


  • Are the Schloss Café and the Lucy Bar also affected by the closure?
    The Schloss Café at the Upper Belvedere will reopen on 1, June and the Lucy Bar at the Belvedere 21 will remain closed until further notice.

  • Will events and educational programs be rescheduled?
    Unfortunately, events will not be rescheduled.
    Programs will resume from the reopening.

  • What happens to my annual pass?
    The duration of annual passes will be extended to cover the full period of closure.

  • What happens when I purchase a new annual pass?
    The term of your annual pass starts only with the reopening. It will be reissued with the correct starting date after the reopening date is known, and will be sent to you by mail.

  • Are the gardens closed?
    The gardens are open to the public.

  • Is the chapel in the Upper Belvedere closed?
    The chapel is closed until further notice. No church services are being held.
