Please note: There are no constraints on the time you spend in the museum.

You don't need a time-slot-ticket and can go directly to the entrance if you present one of the following tickets or memberschip cards and a valid ID:

  • Belvedere annual ticket

  • Bundesmuseen-Card

  • Vienna Pass or Flexi Pass

We are looking forward to your visit!

Avoid Waiting Times

The Upper Belvedere attracts particularly large numbers of visitors from Friday to Sunday, on public holidays, and during school holidays in summer, at Christmas and at Easter.

It is busiest between 11 am and 2 pm. We know how frustrating long waits can be and therefore advise you to plan your visit at an off-peak time. The museum opens at 10 am.

Please be aware that during peak periods you may have to queue in front of the museum and wait before you can enter some of the exhibition rooms.
